DEVELOPMENT
More than 30 years of experience in the field of solar technology are the cornerstone for the technically sound and serious realization of drying projects in which environmental compatibility and resource conservation through the use of solar energy are the essential features.
IST-Anlagenbau GmbH emerged in 1994 from an engineering office for solar technology. With the know-how in the field of solar drying technology, the WendeWolf® process, now known worldwide, was developed. The company operated a self-financed pilot plant for eleven years. The knowledge gained has been incorporated into the further development of machine, plant and process technology.
Solar drying plants using the WendeWolf® process are currently in operation in over 20 countries. Our process technology is the market leader in the field of solar sewage sludge drying in terms of efficiency, reliability and ease of use. The world’s largest solar sludge drying plant – in Nicaragua – was designed and conceived by us. We were involved in the construction phase, and the plant is operated with our machine technology – the WendeWolf®.
